Parliamentary diplomacy is being prioritized in Budapest

Budapest, November 13, 2025 - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Abzal Saparbekuly held a meeting with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian State Assembly, Head of the Hungarian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Zsolt Német, and discussed the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, including Kazakh-Hungarian interparliamentary relations.
A.Saparbekuly told the Hungarian deputy about the political and social changes and democratic reforms in the civil sphere being implemented in Kazakhstan, acquainted him with the achievements of our country during the years of independence, and provided information about upcoming parliamentary reforms.
During the conversation, the results of the official visit of the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament László Kővér to Kazakhstan on September 24 of this year, as well as the opportunities for mutual cooperation between the sectoral committees of the parliaments of the two countries, including the exchange of experience, were discussed.
In turn, Z.Német expressed his readiness to deepen cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, as well as to further deepen the work between Kazakhstan and them within the framework of PACE.
