A new project aimed at directly receiving residents' opinions and suggestions has been launched in Shymkent. The project "People's Contribution to the Development of Shymkent", initiated by the city's mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov, will allow city residents to freely and easily express their thoughts on the city's prosperity.

During the mayor's regular meetings with the public and city tours, citizens receive many suggestions regarding the city's infrastructure, public spaces, and social issues. Now, these comments will be promptly received through a special digital system.

As part of the project, special QR codes will be installed in public places, institutions, bus stops, and buses. Any resident who scans the code will be able to submit their suggestions for city development online. This is a simple and accessible feedback format for residents.

The mayor of the city, Gabit Abdimazhituly, noted that the main goal of this initiative is to give every citizen the opportunity to contribute to the development of Shymkent. All proposals received from residents are carefully analyzed, and specific decisions are made on the most relevant and effective initiatives for the city.

The project is an important step towards strengthening open dialogue between the akimat and residents, ensuring direct public participation in city governance. This initiative will pave the way for residents to actively participate in city life and strengthen shared responsibility for the development of Shymkent.
