Kazakhstan Takes Part in “Asia+ Festival” in Hong Kong

Hong Kong, November 16, 2025 – One of Asia’s most vibrant cultural events, the “Asia+ International Festival”, was held in Hong Kong, bringing together dozens of countries to showcase their cultural heritage. The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by Kazakh students studying in Hong Kong and the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in the Hong Kong SAR.

As part of the festival, the Consulate General presented Kazakhstan’s rich nomadic heritage, artistic traditions and modern cultural achievements. Of particular interest to the audience were the live performances of Kazakh dombyra players and dancers, as well as the colorful national booth where visitors could explore Kazakhstan’s nature, cuisine, and tourism potential through visual materials.

Kazakhstan’s participation received wide acclaim from both local and international festival attendees, who noted the uniqueness of the traditions presented and the high quality of the performances. The event served as an important opportunity to build new cultural ties and raise Kazakhstan’s visibility in the Asian region.

The “Asia+ Festival”, organized by the Culture Department of the HKSAR Government, attracted over 30,000 visitors and representatives from 30 Asian countries, becoming a vibrant platform for showcasing the region’s cultural diversity.
