A Concert of the Chamber Ensemble “Camerata Kazakhstan” Held in Seoul

Seoul, November 14, 2025 – A concert of the State Classical Music Orchestra “Camerata Kazakhstan” was held in Seoul as part of cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.

The concert program featured outstanding works such as Nurgisa Tlendiev’s “Sarzhailau”(Yellow Steppe), Shamshi Kaldayakov’s “Bärinende sen sulu” (You Are the Most Beautiful), among others.

In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Nurgali Arystanov highlighted the significance of cultural exchange as a “language without translation” that strengthens interpersonal ties and creates a platform for cooperation among future generations.

The Kazakh diplomat also emphasized that cultural exchange is closely intertwined with political, economic, and educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and Korea. He noted the growing tourist flow and expanding air connectivity as important factors that contribute to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries.

Chairman of the Yangcheon Culture Foundation, Chun Dong Hee, noted that cooperation between Kazakhstan and Korea in the cultural sphere is steadily expanding, and such joint projects help deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples. He expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for the high professionalism of the performers and underlined the importance of further developing joint cultural initiatives.

Founder and Artistic Director of the State Classical Music Orchestra “Camerata Kazakhstan,” Gaukhar Murzabekova, emphasized that presenting Kazakhstan’s musical culture in Korea strengthens friendship between the nations, and that music serves as a strong bridge connecting countries and fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect.

The “Camerata Kazakhstan” concert offered the audience a unique opportunity to experience the high level of Kazakh classical music and feel the harmony and beauty that unite nations through art.
