On November 14, 2025, the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan Region, together with representatives of the East Kazakhstan Region Treasury Department, held a meeting with students of the Department of Finance, Business and Management of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, dedicated to the celebration of the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the event is to teach students the principles of financial literacy, tax culture, honesty and civic responsibility.

During the meeting, Gulzhanat Berkutova, Head of the Office of Desk Monitoring, spoke about the main activities of the Department, focusing in detail on its key functions and tasks. Special attention was paid to the issues of taxation of individuals, as well as the implementation of the campaigns «Demand a check – win a prize” and “Baige».

At the end of the meeting, the students received comprehensive answers to all their questions. In the future, the Department plans to continue holding informative meetings with students aimed at improving tax and customs literacy.
