The Department of State Revenue for the city of Almaty took an active part in the Public Services Fair, organized by the Akimat of the Medeu district of Almaty together with the district government agencies.
The purpose of the event is to raise public awareness about the procedure for obtaining public services, explain innovations in the field of digitalization and simplify procedures for citizens' interaction with government agencies.
More than 45 citizens received consultations during the fair. Special attention of citizens was paid to issues related to the new Tax Code, in particular, the transition to a new special tax regime based on a simplified declaration, which will enter into force in 2026, as well as the procedure for its application and reporting.
The event allowed residents to receive clarifications on topical issues, improve their tax literacy and familiarize themselves with the procedure for obtaining public services in electronic format.
