The head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, took part in the ceremony of connecting natural gas to the village of Shagan in the Syrdarya region. The solemn event was attended by the heads of law enforcement agencies, responsible departments and departments, representatives of the intelligentsia and villagers. The head of the region congratulated the residents of Shagan, noting the achievements in the socio-economic development of the region. He said that during a recent working trip to the region, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich visited social facilities and industrial enterprises. During the visit, he was informed about the socio-economic development of the region and the progress of investment projects. The President said that a third Presidential Library will be opened in Kyzylorda, operating around the clock, as in Astana and Almaty. Our fellow countrymen are happy to accept this initiative. The Head of State stressed the importance of timely and high-quality implementation of the planned plans. He instructed to continue working to improve the investment climate in the region and create favorable conditions for doing business. The President's positive assessment of the pace of development and the work done in the region is a great honor for everyone. This year, the growth of the main macroeconomic indicators of the region has been ensured. The total volume of the gross regional product will exceed 3 trillion tenge. Over the past three years, 1 trillion 600 billion tenge has been invested in the region's economy, and this year more than 720 billion tenge of investments will be attracted. In 2025-2028, 90 investment projects worth more than 2 trillion tenge will be implemented, more than 11 thousand new jobs will be created. Thanks to the special support of the President and the Government, the regional budget has reached 851 billion 300 million tenge, an increase of 233 percent since 2022. 56 percent of them are directed to the social sphere. N.Nalibayev congratulated everyone on the connection of natural gas to the village of Shagan, noting that this is a common joy. He expressed the hope that blue fuel would improve people's lives and bring warmth to their homes. At the meeting, veterans who contributed to the socio-economic development of the region with their tireless work, and employees of the contractor organization that carried out gasification work were awarded Letters of Thanks from the akim of the region. Public figure Arip Khozhbanov gave his blessing to the audience.
