This year marks the 190th anniversary of the birth of Bakhtybai Zholbarysulу. In this regard, with the support of the akimat of the Zhetisu region, the regional department of culture, archives and documentation, Aitys akynov was held at the Taldykorgan Drama Theater named after Biken Rimova. The Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbayuly Regional Museum of Local Lore organized a traveling exhibition "Zhetisudyn zhyr dombyralary". The dombra of Baktybai Zholbarysulу himself was presented at the exhibition, which consists of the museum's funds. Dombra was donated by the poet's descendants to the museum's fund in March of this year. The exhibition also featured dombra poets Zhetysu Sara Tastanbekkyzy, Kuat Teribayev, Temirgali Rustembekov, Kalka Zhapsarbayuly, Aytakyn Bulgakov. During the exhibition, they talked about the moral path of life, about the legacy of the word left by the poets who gave birth to aitys Zhetys.
