The mobile book exhibition “Choice of the Year” was held at the Center for Labor Resources and Active Longevity. The event was organized by the Saken Seifullin Central Library of the Zhetysu region. It was conducted as part of the “Bir el – bir kitap” campaign and was dedicated to promoting the works of the authors selected for 2025: in the prose category — the works of the outstanding writer, poet, critic, translator, and artist Taken Alimkulov, and in the poetry category — the works of the prominent poet and State Prize laureate Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, whose 90th anniversary is being celebrated this year.

The exhibition featured various publications, including a two-volume collection of works, poems, and epics by Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, as well as an eight-volume collection of works by Taken Alimkulov, along with his novella and short stories “Kókek ayy” and the book “Qaratau örnekteri.” Visitors were offered a bibliographic overview.
