New York, 19 November 2025 – The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations took part in the Annual Charity Bazaar organized by the Islamic Heritage Society with the support of several Permanent Missions of UN Member States. The event traditionally serves as a platform for bringing together the diplomatic community to advance humanitarian initiatives and strengthen bonds of mutual support.

In 2025, all proceeds are being directed to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to support programs assisting the civilian population of Gaza, as well as to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) for the implementation of humanitarian operations in Sudan.

Kazakhstan was represented with a national booth featuring traditional dishes prepared by the staff of the Permanent Mission. The national booth attracted considerable interest from participants and guests, contributing to the cultural diversity and charitable mission of the Bazaar.

Kazakhstan’s participation reaffirmed the country’s unwavering commitment to the international humanitarian agenda, the promotion of mutual understanding, and support for populations affected by conflicts.
