On October 18, 2025, as part of the republican environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan", a city-wide clean-up was organized in the Akzhaiyk microdistrict. The district akimat and municipal service specialists, local residents, schoolchildren, students and youth organizations actively participated in this event. The main goal of the clean-up was to improve the ecological situation of our city, encourage residents to protect nature, keep the environment clean, and also to form a responsible attitude of each citizen to keeping their yard and the entire city area clean.

During the event, extensive cleaning work was carried out in the Akzhaiyk microdistrict. Special equipment, municipal service specialists and volunteers were involved in these works. First, they cleaned the streets and sidewalks, public places and squares from garbage. In addition, special work was carried out to cut down dead grass and bushes and protect the greenery. During the weekend, residents worked in groups, each contributing their own contribution.

The cleaning work was not limited to garbage collection. As part of the Senbilik, residents of the district also actively participated in the campaign to plant new willow trees. Students from local schools and universities, teenagers, as well as volunteer groups planted willow trees of various varieties on every street, in parks and in public places. The purpose of this event was not only to keep the city's air clean, but also to improve the ecological situation by increasing greenery.

The district akimat made a specific plan for organizing the Sabbath. According to the plan, the most polluted areas were first identified, and each group was given its own route. Residents and volunteers were explained the procedure for sorting garbage, separate collection of plastic bags, plastic and paper waste. In addition, environmental education programs were organized for children and adolescents during the Sabbath. They were given information about nature protection, saving water and electricity, and not polluting the environment.

Another important aspect of the Sabbath was the strengthening of unity among residents. Each participant felt that he had made his own contribution and was involved in protecting his native land. Large families, schoolchildren and students were especially active. This not only formed their environmental awareness, but also set an example for leaving a clean nature for future generations.

During the weekend, various environmental games, quizzes and competitions were organized. Activities for children and teenagers were aimed at increasing their environmental knowledge and arousing their interest in environmental protection. In addition, practical advice was given to residents on garbage sorting, waste recycling, and saving water and electricity.

The "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign is not limited to a one-day cleanup. Its main goal is to form a sustainable environmental culture. The cleanup held in the Akzhaiyk microdistrict allowed residents to increase their participation in environmental protection. The district akimat and municipal service specialists plan to organize such events annually in the future and regularly call on residents to be environmentally responsible.

At the end of the weekend, the district akimat and municipal service specialists thanked all participants and awarded them for their activity and contribution to protecting their native land. In addition, a final report was prepared based on the results of the weekend, and plans were made for where to hold clean-up activities next year.

The city-wide Sabbath, held in the Akzhaiyk microdistrict, not only increased the unity of residents, but also provided an opportunity to demonstrate love and responsibility for their native land. Thanks to the cleaning work carried out during the Sabbath, the district territory has become a beautiful and comfortable place.
