Garbage was collected and delivered to the appropriate places, the streets were washed, and the grass was removed to special places and the waste was sent for recycling.

The main goal of the campaign was to increase the ecological culture of residents, protect nature, keep the city clean, and also explain to each person the responsibility that begins in their own yard. The importance of the campaign is that it is not limited to cleaning work, but is aimed at changing people's attitudes towards nature. Participants made their contribution, demonstrated their experience in protecting their native land, adapting to ecological culture.

– A clean environment is the responsibility of every citizen. Through such cleaning measures, we urge residents to be kind to nature, to start cleaning their own yards and streets, – said Pernebek Aitzhanov, head of the Environmental Quality Development Department of the Enbekshy District Akim's Office.

During the weekend, the district akimat developed a special plan in advance. According to the plan, the most polluted and dangerous areas were first identified. Each group was given its own route and provided with the necessary tools and technical equipment. In addition, residents were explained how to properly sort garbage, separate collection of plastic bags, plastic and paper waste. The peculiarity of this event is not limited to garbage collection, but also to increasing the environmental awareness of residents and instilling a sense of responsibility in them.

Residents who participated in the Saturday activity showed their active participation and contributed. Schoolchildren and students worked in groups and not only collected garbage, but also provided information to residents on preserving environmental culture. By their example, they encouraged young people to protect nature, keep streets and yards clean. This event was an important step towards creating environmental awareness among young people and leaving a clean environment for future generations.

Public utility specialists strictly observed safety measures during cleaning work. They observed the correct use of equipment and tools, traffic control, and the prevention of injuries to team members. In addition, during the cleanup, additional trash cans were placed throughout the district, and residents and visitors were warned not to litter.

Such cleaning events are held regularly in the Enbekshy district. Each Saturday contributes to the beautification of the district, the cleanliness of public places, and the increased responsibility of residents towards nature. These events help residents get used to keeping their yards, streets, and city areas clean. In the future, the district akimat and municipal service specialists plan to hold such Saturdays annually and constantly encourage residents to maintain an ecological culture.

At the end of the weekend, the district akimat and municipal service specialists thanked all participants and awarded them for their activity and contribution to protecting their native land.
