On October 16, 2025, as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, cleaning activities were held in all districts of Shymkent. The goal of this republican campaign is to increase the ecological culture of residents, keep the city clean, and form the responsibility of each citizen for their city and homeland. A similar cleaning campaign was also organized in the Kyzylzhar microdistrict of the Abay district.
The district veterans' council, volunteer youth, residents, and employees of the district's municipal institutions actively participated in the cleaning work. Representatives of the Shymkent city branch of the AMANAT party also contributed. In total, more than 100 people participated in this event and worked together. They put Sarykol Street in order, mowed grass, cleaned inert materials, and cleaned streets and public places from garbage.
Workers of the Abay district municipal service also participated in the Sabbath and systematically carried out sanitary and cleaning work. Three units of special equipment were involved in these works. The municipal service specialists prepared all the necessary equipment for effective cleaning measures and provided technical instructions to the participants. In addition, the work was carried out in accordance with safety regulations, all participants observed safety precautions and treated the work process responsibly.
During the event, the microdistrict was cleaned of garbage, dry grass, bushes and other waste. Participants put streets, sidewalks, public places in order, contributing to the beautification of the city. In addition, information leaflets were distributed to residents in order to preserve greenery and develop an ecological culture. These leaflets provided advice on garbage sorting, waste recycling, and ways to protect nature.
Batyrali Ibragimov, the local dance leader who participated in the action, said in his speech:
– Maintaining cleanliness in everyday life is an indicator of each citizen's compassion for their homeland, their city. We call on city residents, especially young people, to maintain an ecological culture, take a responsible approach to cleanliness, and actively participate in events within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, - he noted.
The cleanup was not limited to just picking up trash. Participants worked as a team and acted in harmony with each other. Schoolchildren, students, young volunteers, and residents joined forces to clean up each area and contribute their share. This event not only increased the unity of residents, but also strengthened their love for their homeland and environmental responsibility.
During the weekend, residents were reminded that a clean, attractive, and comfortable urban environment is the common responsibility of each of us. A person who keeps his yard and street clean enhances the beauty of his city and sets an example for others. Such events teach every citizen to be compassionate towards his native land and maintain cleanliness in public spaces.
Another important part of the event was the formation of an ecological culture among the population. Information stands, quizzes, and ecological games were organized for children and adolescents. Their goal was to educate the younger generation about nature protection, saving water and electricity, recycling waste, and preserving greenery. These events are aimed at raising the environmental awareness of children and youth.
As a result of the weekend, the entire length of Sarykol Street was cleaned and beautified. Residents were eager to keep their yards and streets clean, contributing to making the streets more attractive. For example, as a result of the work done, the roadsides, sidewalks, public places, and squares were free of garbage and comfortable, creating comfortable conditions for residents and guests to relax.
The activity of participants in the clean-up event plays an important role in strengthening environmental culture. If such events are held regularly, city residents will form a culture of protecting nature and keeping the environment clean. In addition, the work done during the clean-up event will serve as an example for future generations and instill a sense of responsibility in them.
At the end of the clean-up, the district administration and municipal service specialists thanked all participants and awarded them for their activity and contribution to protecting their native land. Also, a final report was prepared based on the results of the clean-up, and plans were made for where cleaning activities should be held next year.
The "Clean Kazakhstan" program is not just a cleaning operation, it is an important measure to form a culture of loving the native land, protecting the environment, and leaving a clean nature for future generations. The Saturday cleaning in the Abay district is an exemplary event aimed at raising the environmental awareness of residents, strengthening social responsibility, and improving the beauty of the city.
The work carried out during the Sembilik not only improved the ecological situation of the city, but also helped to create a sense of unity and mutual assistance among residents. If such events are held regularly in the future, our city will always become a clean, beautiful and comfortable urban environment.
