On October 16, 2025, the Enbekshy district akim's office organized the "Clean Yard" week on Kalmyrzayev Street as part of the "CLEAN KAZAKHSTAN" republican environmental cleanliness campaign. This event was held with the aim of improving the ecological situation in the city, attracting residents to keep their yards and streets clean, and protecting the environment. The "Clean Yard" week is aimed at improving the living culture of residents, maintaining the beauty and comfort of the city, and providing residents with a clean and safe environment.
The event was attended by the Enbekshy district akim's office, the Enbekshy municipal institution, the Inteko Group LLP under the Urban Environment Development Department, and active residents of the district. Participants made their voluntary contributions, organized sanitation work, and put streets and public places in order. More than 60 people were involved in this event, and each group was given its own directions. Residents and volunteers worked as a team and acted in harmony.
Several directions were included in the sanitary cleaning work. The first direction is washing garbage dumps and cleaning up waste. Participants thoroughly cleaned garbage containers and transported the collected waste to the appropriate places in special vehicles. This was important for the correct sorting of garbage and preparation for recycling. The second direction is cleaning streets and pedestrian paths. Participants put the streets in order by sweeping, washing, and collecting garbage with special tools. The third direction is trimming trees, mowing grass, and maintaining greenery. Such work not only made the streets and courtyards more attractive, but also improved the ecological situation.
Special equipment and tools were used in sanitation work. For example, special equipment for pressure washing with water was used to clean garbage cans. High-quality brushes and special tools were used to sweep the streets. Safety rules were strictly observed when pruning trees and mowing grass. All participants received instructions on the correct use of tools.
During the event, residents were reminded of the importance of protecting the environment, keeping the city clean, and maintaining a culture of cleanliness. The participants set an example for neighbors and other residents with their actions, promoting the culture of keeping their yards and streets clean. This event was also an opportunity for environmental education for young people and children. Children and teenagers participated in activities such as properly sorting garbage, caring for trees, and cleaning streets, raising their environmental awareness.
Keeping our city clean is the duty of all residents. The main goal was to encourage participants and residents of the district not to pollute the environment and to adhere to good housekeeping. During the event, each participant understood the responsibility that began in their own yard and contributed to the cleanliness of the public environment. In addition, residents were eager to participate in events aimed at preserving environmental culture and making the city more comfortable and attractive.
During the week of cleanliness, public places, playgrounds, parks and bus stops were cleaned with special equipment. These works were aimed at creating comfortable conditions for residents to relax and ensure safety. During the cleaning of bus stops, additional measures were taken to improve the hygiene of residents when using public transport.
The "Clean Yard" week was not limited to garbage collection, but also allowed residents to increase unity, mutual support, and social responsibility. Young people and volunteer residents worked as a team, helped each other, shared experiences, and strengthened environmental responsibility in society. This campaign is considered an important event aimed at increasing the environmental culture of residents and contributing to the beautification of the city.
At the end of the event, the district akimat and municipal service specialists thanked all participants and awarded them for their activity and contribution to protecting their native land. In addition, a report was prepared based on the results of the cleanliness week, and additional measures were planned to be taken in the future to keep the city clean.
In conclusion, the "Clean Yard" week is not only a large-scale event aimed at improving the beauty and sanitary condition of the city, but also an event that allows each resident to develop compassion for their native land, responsibility, and an ecological culture. If every street and every yard of our city is clean, residents will be able to relax, walk, and live in a safe and comfortable environment.
One of the important results of the Cleanliness Week was to increase the ecological culture of residents, instill a sense of compassion for the environment, and strengthen the culture of maintaining cleanliness in the city. If such events are held regularly, our city will always become a clean, attractive, and comfortable urban environment.
Therefore, all residents of the district and active citizens are invited to keep the city clean, protect the environment, and keep every yard and street clean. The essence of the "Clean Yard" week is that each person contributes to the city through their own actions, increasing the unity of residents, and leaving a clean and comfortable environment for future generations.
