On October 18, 2025, employees of the Shymkent State Zoological Park actively participated in the organized clean-up. This event was held to maintain the cleanliness of our city, put public places in order, and increase the ecological culture of residents. The participants of the clean-up volunteered their efforts and cleaned the park territory, animal areas, and public places.
The main goal of the Sabbath is to call on every citizen to take a responsible approach to the cleanliness of their hometown. Cleanliness in public spaces not only improves the appearance, but also has a positive effect on people's health, psychological well-being, and the general ecological situation. The employees of the Zoological Park set an example for every resident with their actions, showing that the cleanliness of every yard and park in the city is the duty of each of us.
During the weekend, park workers performed various tasks. They collected garbage, swept the area, mowed grass, and cleaned up dry leaves. In addition, they carried out work such as maintaining planted trees, tidying up flower beds, and cleaning roads and walkways. These activities were not only limited to improving the aesthetic appearance, but also important actions that demonstrated care for nature.
Among the participants of the Sabbath, not only adults, but also young people and children were active. They not only participated in garbage collection and cleaning the territory, but also demonstrated their environmental education and set an example for their colleagues and guests. The participation of young people is especially important, because it is through such events that the culture of protecting nature and keeping the city clean is formed in future generations.
During the event, participants were given instructions on maintaining environmental culture, not polluting the environment, and adhering to household culture. Information materials were distributed on proper waste sorting, preparing waste for recycling, and separate collection of plastic and paper products. These measures increased the environmental awareness of residents and strengthened their responsibility for the environment.
The cleaning of the zoological park territory was not limited to just collecting garbage, but also to maintaining public order, educating people to keep their yards and parks clean, and giving every citizen the opportunity to do their part. Every action of the participants was aimed at making every yard and park of the city beautiful and clean.
During the workshop, the organizers monitored the safety measures of all work. Participants were provided with special tools and equipment, and instructions for their proper use were explained. During the work, sanitary standards were observed, and special attention was paid to the safety of the participants.
Cleaning public places is not only important for the sake of appearance, but also for the formation of an ecological culture and increasing the responsibility of citizens towards their city. The participants of the Sabbilyk made their contribution and showed the city residents the importance of cleanliness and order.
Another feature of the Sabbath was the unity and mutual support of residents. All participants worked as a team, helped each other, shared experiences and set an example for their colleagues. This strengthened social responsibility and helped each resident form a culture of keeping the city clean.
During the work, activities such as sweeping the area, washing garbage, mowing grass, and maintaining trees were carried out, and each section of the park was thoroughly cleaned. Thanks to the activity of the participants, the area became attractive, clean, and comfortable, creating comfortable conditions for visitors. These works also had a positive impact on the ecological situation of the city and public health.
After the end of the Saturday, the participants and organizers summed up and noted the contribution of each participant. All active citizens were thanked and invited to participate in similar actions in the future. If every yard and park in the city is clean, then residents will feel comfortable relaxing, walking, and spending time in nature.
The slogan "New Kazakhstan begins with a clean environment and a neat society!" fully reflects the essence of this holiday. Keeping every yard, park, and street of our city clean is the responsibility of every citizen. Cleanliness is not just for appearance, it is a reflection of a civilized society, a sign of each resident's affection for their city.
The weekend also provided an opportunity to raise environmental awareness among young people. Children and teenagers can learn a culture of environmental protection and contribute to creating a clean and comfortable environment in the future. This experience teaches them to appreciate their environment, protect nature, and maintain cleanliness in public places.
Cleanliness is a reflection of a civilized society. By keeping their yard, street, and public space clean, each citizen improves the beauty of the city and sets an example for other residents. If the Sabbaths are held regularly, Shymkent will always be a clean, comfortable, and attractive city.
Thanks to such measures, every resident takes a responsible approach to the cleanliness of their city, learns to maintain order in the public environment, and contributes to leaving a clean city for future generations. Saturdays are not just garbage collection, they are an event that forms the city's ecological culture and educates every citizen to be compassionate towards their city.
Employees and volunteers of the Shymkent State Zoological Park did their part to keep the city clean. This Saturday strengthened the sense of unity among residents and increased environmental responsibility in society.
Responsible attitude to cleanliness is the duty of every person. If every yard, park and street of our city is clean, a comfortable, safe and attractive environment will be created for residents. If such events are held regularly, Shymkent will always become a clean, cultured and neat city.
