Protecting nature is the sacred duty of every citizen. Taking care of the animal world, especially birds, is an important act that expresses humanity's love for nature. For this purpose, on November 1, 2025, an environmental campaign called "Warm Nest" was organized in Abai Park, where 15 special nests were installed for birds. This noble cause brought together many young people who are passionate about nature.

Students of secondary school No. 68 and young volunteers actively participated in this event. They not only made birdhouses with their own hands, but also helped install them on trees in the park. The teenagers proved their love for nature with concrete actions and set an example for the public. During the event, the students received various information about the seasonal migration of birds and their role in nature. This not only increased their knowledge, but also helped to form an ecological culture.

The main goal of the event is to educate children and young people to take care of nature and increase their kindness towards the bird world. Birds are an important part of the ecosystem. They eat pests and create conditions for plants to grow and thrive. Therefore, creating a favorable environment for birds is one of the directions of environmental protection. It is important to understand that every small action we take contributes to a great improvement in nature.

Helping birds is especially important in the autumn and winter months. During these times, they have difficulty finding food, and the lack of warm places to shelter poses a threat to their lives. Therefore, the nests installed make a significant contribution to the birds' survival through the winter. As part of the “Warm Nest” campaign, young people also installed small feeders to feed birds. In the future, volunteers plan to regularly feed birds in city parks and monitor their condition.

Environmentalists also came to the event to explain the importance of protecting birds. They focused on some endangered species of birds and emphasized the need to prevent pollution of the natural environment and illegal logging. Children discussed current issues in the field of ecology and received answers to their questions. Such events help them develop a sense of responsibility and compassion for nature.

The “Warm Nest” campaign is not just a one-day event. According to the organizers, the initiative will continue in the future. Additional nest boxes for birds will be installed, and environmental education activities will be carried out systematically. The group of volunteers among young people will expand, and other events aimed at protecting nature are planned. In addition, environmental drawing competitions, bird knowledge competitions, and excursions to nature will be held among schoolchildren in the future.

The significance of this noble initiative is not only to show care for birds, but also to form environmental awareness among the younger generation. Nowadays, the issue of nature protection has risen to a global level. Climate change, deforestation, and the decline of the animal world are of great concern. Therefore, it is important for every student to learn to be compassionate towards nature from childhood.

By protecting birds, we also protect our own future. After all, nature and man are one. Charity done to nature ultimately returns to man. In this regard, the action held in Abai Park is undoubtedly an example for all of us.

Parents were proud of their children who participated in the event and happily supported their steps towards protecting nature. The teenagers felt the importance of their work and were encouraged by the feeling of benefiting society. This will undoubtedly strengthen their civic position in their future lives.

The development of ecological culture is an ongoing process. It is the responsibility of not only individuals, but also the entire society. One of the main directions of the event is to encourage local residents to actively participate in such initiatives. The public can contribute to nature protection by joining such actions.

This charitable initiative, which began in Abai Park, will be expanded to other areas of the city. Work will continue to create favorable conditions for birds on city streets, in parks, and on school grounds. The organizers were pleased with the activity of the young people and expressed their gratitude. They noted that the actions of every young person who voluntarily participates in nature protection lead to great good.

Caring for the environment is an indicator of the loyalty of today's generation to tomorrow's trust. The "Warm Nest" campaign is a vivid example of caring for nature. If every citizen supported such concrete actions, both our city and nature would become more beautiful.

Caring for birds starts with compassion for nature!
