The regional Prosecutor's Office pays special attention to improving the legal literacy of young people, who are the future of our country.
For this purpose, employees of the prosecutor's office and veterans regularly meet with school students, conduct lectures and conversations, answer questions of concern to the younger generation.
     Statistics show that today over 60% of offenses are committed by college students.
In this regard, within the framework of the "Law and Order" Concept, prosecutors in 6 colleges of the regional center (Ust-Kamenogorsk Multidisciplinary College of Technology, Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Construction and Technical College, Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Technology and Service, College of Transport and Life Safety, K. Nurgaliev Higher College, Ust-Kamenogorsk Multi-profile College) conducted meetings with students under the auspices of "Youth and the law: prevention of juvenile delinquency".
More than 500 students took part in the event.
The main message of such meetings is to involve and encourage young people to observe law and order.
     The conversation with the students took place in a live dialogue format, where the prosecutors brought to the audience the consequences of current problems of society and crimes such as bullying, ludomania, fraud, drug addiction, etc.
During the dialogue, the students received comprehensive answers and clarifications to their questions. In general, the meetings received positive feedback from the students.
Such events contribute to the formation of a legal culture among young people and create a trusting dialogue between government agencies and teenagers.
The regional Prosecutor's Office will continue its work in this area.
