An attempt to smuggle prohibited items into a maximum-security correctional institution in Arshaly was successfully prevented.

The Operations Department received a report about a suspicious bundle discovered in a pile of coal on the grounds of the secured facility. The information was immediately acted upon.

A rapid-response team, including officers from the Operations Department and Sergeant 3rd Class Nurbol Ashtaev with his service dog, was dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, the team conducted a thorough inspection of the area. During the search, they found a black bundle. After opening it, officers discovered eight mobile phones and two SIM cards intended for illegal delivery into the restricted area.

Thanks to the vigilance of the guardsman and the coordinated actions of officers from the Penal Enforcement System, the attempt to smuggle prohibited items was thwarted. All materials related to the discovery have been transferred to the competent authorities for further investigation.
