At the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a state visit to Astana on November 24-25.

During the visit, Serdar Berdimuhamedov is scheduled to hold high-level talks to discuss prospects for strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan has already visited Astana this year. In May, Serdar Berdimuhamedov flew in to participate in the Central Asia-Italy summit, which took place on May 30 with the participation of the heads of state of the region.

In June, Berdimuhamedov participated in the Central Asia-China summit with the leaders of the region's countries, which was also held in the capital of Kazakhstan.

And in August, he met with the President of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan, where the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the trade, economic, energy, and transport spheres.
