This year, the city is implementing the "Aykyn" project for the first time in the field of education. 5.7 billion tenge has been allocated from the local budget for it. These funds will be used to upgrade computer cables in schools. It will help improve internet speed. Currently, some schools are experiencing a drop in internet speed. The fault lies primarily with worn cables. There are 4,205 cameras operating in schools. As part of the project, the administration will purchase another 9,021 surveillance cameras. Each classroom in the educational institution will be equipped with a camera. Including the gym, there are 8,230 classrooms in the city's schools. 829 of them are connected to the camera service. Now the company that won the tender will install cameras in all the remaining classrooms. The contractor will also replace the more than four thousand existing cameras that have failed. The surveillance devices will be controlled by artificial intelligence. If a violation of the law occurs in a classroom, the data received by the camera will be immediately sent to the operational management service of the police department. According to G. Daribaeva, specialists from the methodological center at the department can monitor lessons in any school classroom online using the camera.
"At the same time, the Kundelik kz. system sends warnings to the director, his deputy, and the teacher. For example, if an English teacher spends 5 minutes on the phone during a 45-minute lesson, talks to someone for 20 minutes, or gives homework to children without explaining the lesson, a warning is sent when the Kundelik kz. platform is opened. A message condemning the teacher's actions is published there. Artificial intelligence monitors everything through cameras and sends it to Kundelik kz. This message also goes to the director and his deputy. The director can call the teacher and warn him for not performing his duties properly or hold him accountable for other responsibilities. The new project is being implemented for the first time in Shymkent. But it seems that this practice has been around for some time in other regions. We tested it last year. We installed cameras controlled by artificial intelligence in the corridors of two schools in the city. Through this, the department's specialists monitored every disorder. We even determined the mood of the children with the help of artificial intelligence. "This child is not in a good mood, he is sad. The school psychologists conducted special work with the student, who was indicated by the AI as being depressed. Thus, we strengthened the duties of the specialists responsible for the psychological state of the students. We conducted an initial experiment with monitoring using artificial intelligence. The result is not bad. Now we will see how it will work on a city-wide scale. Although the new project will not revolutionize the education sector of the metropolis, it is clear that it will lead to some changes. We are confident that through monitoring, the quality of teachers' work will improve and the level of education of students will increase. A teacher who knows that there is a camera on his ceiling will conduct a 45-minute lesson in accordance with the requirements, and student misbehavior will also decrease in the classroom," said Gulnara Turdybaykyzy.
With the help of this project, it is possible not only to improve the quality of education, but also to eliminate bullying among students.
The state allocates funds to provide each student with a hot meal. It is called the "Social Wallet". To control the targeted spending of the funds from this wallet, the department is implementing an information and software complex. Under this system, the state pays money based on the number of children who eat a hot meal. An entrepreneur who rents a school canteen only provides food and prepares meals based on the number of children who come. For example, if the state allocates money for a hundred children, it does not care whether they all eat. Another child would take the place of a student who did not come. Now, with the new system, funds are specifically considered only for children who eat. Thus, the ABC is expected to be very useful for saving money. The information and software complex is implemented using artificial intelligence. With the ABC, it is possible to determine the number of children who come to the library and accurately calculate the statistics on the use of library services by students.
