Seven Georgian athletes competed in various weight categories at the recent Kazak Kuresi World Cup honouring Kazymukan Munaitpasov in Turkestan.

As a result of the competition, the Georgian squad took third place in the overall team standings, confirming the high level of preparation and cohesion of the team.

Bronze medals were won by Gigi Otiashvili in the 66 kg category, Zurab Chagelishvili in the 100 kg category, and Fridon Sharikadze in the +100 kg category.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan extends its sincere congratulations to the Kazak Kuresi Georgian Federation on its successful performance at the competition. Special congratulations for the winning medals and outstanding results go to Gigi Otiashvili, Zurab Chagelishvili, and Fridon Sharikadze.
