Today, in the center of Karmakshy district — the settlement of Zhosaly — a ceremony was held to hand over newly built residential houses to socially vulnerable citizens, with the participation of the regional Akim Nurlibek Nәlibaev. Deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament — Ruslan Rüstemov, Murat Abenov, Murat Ergeshbayev — heads of law enforcement agencies, respected elders and local residents attended the event.

The head of the region congratulated the new homeowners and highlighted major regional projects, construction dynamics, and especially the achievements in housing construction.

“The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly, emphasized that providing housing for citizens is one of the top priorities of state policy. Construction in our region is progressing actively: since 2022, about 200 social facilities have been built and are now serving the population.

Between 2022 and 2024, more than 5,000 apartments were allocated to citizens registered on the waiting list. For the first time in the past two years, nearly 1,500 apartments have been built across all districts and distributed to residents.

This year, 58 billion 785 million tenge were allocated from the budget for the construction of housing totaling 3,600 apartments. In the districts, 161 residential houses with 322 apartments are being built.

In Karmakshy district, in 2023–2024, 103 residential houses with 207 apartments were purchased for 2 billion 848 million tenge and handed over to eligible citizens. Today, we are handing over an additional 25 new houses with 50 apartments.

It should be noted that in 2023, medical outpatient clinics were opened in the villages of Turmagambet, Akzhar and Dür Oңğar of Karmakshy district. Last year, feldsher-midwife stations were built in Kuandarya and Karmakshy villages and are now serving the population.

Within the framework of the declared “Year of Spirituality,” one of the newly constructed “Rukhaniyat Centers” was opened in the Karmakshy district. Under the “Aul – the cradle of the nation” program, new sports complexes were built and commissioned in the villages of Dür Oңğar, Third International, and Akai.

During the ceremony, veterans who contributed to the socio-economic development of the district and employees of contracting companies were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional Akim. A congratulatory speech was delivered by Mazhilis deputy Murat Ergeshbayev.

After the ceremony, the regional Akim met with residents and veterans, exchanged views, answered questions about the region’s socio-economic development and future plans, and listened to the suggestions of the community.
