The Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan has made changes to the procedure for regulating the import of certain types of stone products.

Order No. 506 of November 25, 2025 amended Order No. 342 of September 2, 2025.

The main change concerns the exclusion from the ban on the import of granite for monuments or construction and products made from them, hewn or sawn, with a flat or flat surface (EAEU HS code 6802230000).

Earlier, from September 21, 2025, a three-month ban on the import of certain types of stone products from third countries by all modes of transport was introduced.

The ban continues to apply to the following product items:

- paving stones, curbs and paving slabs made of natural stone (EAEU HS code 6801000000); - polished, decorated or otherwise processed granite, other than carved, with a net weight of 10 kg or more (EAEU HS code 6802931000);

- granite for monuments or construction (EAEU HS code 6802939000).

The exception applies only to products according to the EAEU HS code 6802230000.
