Today, memorandums of understanding on mutual cooperation were signed between the city administration and business entities in Shymkent. These agreements are aimed at stabilizing prices for socially important food products and curbing inflation.
This initiative was joined by large retail chains such as "Gramad" and "F-Mart", city food markets, and major food producers such as flour, meat, milk, eggs, and bread, as well as wholesale suppliers.
According to First Deputy Mayor Aidyn Karimov, the signing of the memorandums is not a one-time event, but a continuation of the systematic work being carried out jointly by the city administration and the business community.
"Business has been demonstrating high social responsibility, and today we have once again confirmed our readiness to work together. Our common goal is to provide the city's residents with stable prices, an open market and basic products. Such agreements have a tangible impact and allow us to monitor and respond to any phenomena in the food market in a timely manner," said A. Karimov.
It is worth noting that the memorandums were signed by more than 100 business entities. The parties agreed to jointly implement initiatives aimed at reducing intermediary chains, preventing unjustified price increases, and reducing inflation.
This step is part of systematic work to ensure food security in the city of Shymkent and strengthen the social well-being of residents.
It is worth noting that the city administration conducts daily monitoring of prices and constantly monitors the situation together with entrepreneurs.
