Kazakhstan-Poland: Towards Strengthening Interfaith Ties

Warsaw, November 27, 2025 -  The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland Nurlan Zhalgasbayev met with the president of the polish Foundation for interreligious cooperation "Common roots" Marek Oledski and the founder of the Foundation, Aleksander Zagiel.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-Polish cooperation in strengthening interfaith ties.

In this regard, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan particularly noted the important role of the Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions, aimed at the formation and development of a permanent international interfaith platform for constructive dialogue. It was emphasized that the polish Foundation's cooperation with the Kazakhstan International Center for interfaith and interreligious dialogue will help identify new points of interaction and facilitate the development of coordinated solutions.

In turn, the polish interlocutors expressed interest in collaborating with their Kazakh partners to develop ties to bring religions, cultures, and peoples closer together. They noted that the Foundation's goals are to promote dialogue, support education, and create a space where faith, culture, and solidarity lead to reconciliation and unity. In this regard, they expressed confidence in the fruitfulness and constructiveness of such cooperation.
