The Department of State Revenue for the city of Almaty announces the launch of the updated KKM Data Transmission Protocol version 2.0.3, published by the State Revenue Committee.

The new version of the protocol provides for:

• automatic connection of cash registers to the National Catalog of Goods;
• determination of KKM geolocation through a fiscal data operator with high accuracy;
• improved integration and increased transparency of tax administration.

The transition to the new protocol is completed by November 15, 2025. The disconnection of fiscal data operators from the previous version began on November 17, 2025.

The KKM software update will be performed automatically. If necessary, the firmware and maintenance are carried out by the Maintenance Centers, the list of which is posted on the website of the Department of State Revenue in the city of Almaty.
