The VII Interagency Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the National Guard Faculty of the National Defense University. The main theme of the event was “Current Issues of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard.”

The conference brought together representatives of the Main Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, university leadership, faculty members, and master’s degree students.

Speakers included the Head of the National Defense University, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Major General Askar Mustabekov, as well as the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Bauyrzhan Abzhanov.

The agenda covered topics such as the role of the law-enforcement troops amid modern security threats, interagency cooperation in ensuring national security, and the specific features and prospects of operations under various legal regimes.

- The current session addressed the prospects for the development of the troops, key challenges in service and combat activities, and the enhancement of professional competence among personnel. In addition, in accordance with the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his September Address, special attention was given to the integration of artificial intelligence and innovative technologies into the training and educational system, - noted the conference moderator, Head of the Faculty, Colonel Saverdin Imirov.

This conference can be regarded as the beginning of extensive work to improve the system of professional training for servicemen, modernize training processes, and introduce digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
