If, as of January 1, 2026, you still have a product on sale that is not registered with CNT, then you must assign it the NTIN code, even if you are not a manufacturer or importer. In order to check the availability of product cards, create new ones and make changes to them, you must register on the website. nct.kz . When filling out a new card, you must add information about the product name, brand, characteristics, composition and country of origin. However, before creating a card, it is recommended to check the availability of the product in the catalog. There are already more than 15 million cards in the system, and if the same product is supplied by different importers, its card could have been created earlier. In this case, you do not need to re-register the product. Updating cash registers: What everyone needs to do After the implementation of the NCT, all cash registers should work according to the 2.0.3 protocol, which supports the transmission of NTIN codes. This work is independently carried out by the KKM technical service together with the Fiscal Data Operator. The business only needs to use the product already available in the CNT with its NTIN code and scan it when selling.It should be noted that the use of cash registers in trade in Kazakhstan is a legal requirement. Simplified schemes will be provided for bazaars and rural sellers, but it will not be possible to avoid connection completely.  If the product does not have the national product code NTIN, then it is assigned a temporary code in order not to block trade.
