KazAID participated in the 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Forum of CEOs on South-South and Triangular Cooperation
Kingdom of Thailand, Bangkok, 2–4 December 2025 – A Kazakh delegation led by Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID), took part in the 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Directors Forum. The event was organised by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in conjunction with the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA).
The Forum serves as a key regional platform for promoting South-South and triangular cooperation, bringing together heads of technical assistance agencies, government representatives and development partners to discuss inclusive growth and sustainable solutions.
In 2025, the central theme of the meeting was ‘Harnessing South-South Cooperation for Inclusive Societies in Asia and the Pacific.’
During the plenary session, Arken Arystanov delivered a presentation detailing KazAID's activities, the agency's priorities and plans to expand international cooperation. He emphasised Kazakhstan's role in promoting mutual support in the region, the importance of sharing best practices and the need for scalable solutions aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Forum participants discussed challenges and opportunities for promoting inclusive development, innovative approaches to technical assistance, and strengthening partnerships.
