On November 21, 2025, the next "Clean Thursday" environmental campaign, organized by the city branch of the "AMANAT" party, was held in Shymkent. This event, held with the aim of protecting the environment, improving sanitation in the city, and raising the environmental culture of residents, was one of the most important public initiatives of this year.

The action was attended by the deputy executive secretary of the city branch of the party, Yerbol Baikonysov , employees of the city and district branches, activists of the youth wing "Zhastar Ruhy", as well as municipal service specialists. According to the organizers, a total of about 50 people were involved in this event. Together, they helped to ensure the cleanliness of the territory, collect litter from the streets, and improve the environmental situation.

This time, the "Clean Thursday" campaign was held in the "Shymsiti" microdistrict of the Abay district. The mentioned area is one of the new residential areas that has been rapidly developing in recent years. Due to the large number of construction works and the increase in the population, there is a risk of household waste accumulating on some streets. In this regard, the organizers of the campaign decided to hold the cleaning event in this very area.

Participants covered several streets of the microdistrict, collecting roadside garbage, plastic bottles, paper waste, and construction waste. They also tidied up dead tree branches and grass, improving the sanitary condition of yards and public places. The garbage collected during the cleaning work was removed with special equipment and taken to a landfill.

During the campaign, representatives of the AMANAT party and volunteer youth also conducted explanatory work with residents on the issue of environmental protection. They spoke about the importance of protecting nature, the responsibility of each citizen to keep their yard and street clean, and explained the need to form a culture of sorting, recycling, and disposing of household waste in special places.

The environmental campaign was organized within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" national project, which is being implemented at the initiative of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev . The main goal of the national project is to increase the environmental responsibility of the country's citizens, widely involve society in environmental protection work, and form a culture aimed at maintaining constant sanitary cleanliness throughout the country. Not only state bodies, but also business structures and public organizations are actively participating in the implementation of this project.

Shymkent is the third largest city in the country, densely populated and one of the fastest growing regions. The rapid development of the city requires increased environmental responsibility. In this regard, campaigns such as "Clean Thursday" are of particular importance. They are not limited to garbage collection, but, most importantly, are aimed at instilling a culture of environmental protection in the minds of city residents.

Since the beginning of the year, the “Clean Thursday” environmental campaign has been held 47 times in Shymkent. This indicator indicates an increase in the environmental activity of city residents. As a result of the campaigns, about 45 tons of garbage were removed. In addition, more than 4 thousand city residents participated in cleaning work as volunteers throughout the year. This indicates that the number of citizens who are not indifferent to the sanitary condition of the city is increasing.

The city branch of the AMANAT party has been consistently promoting environmental initiatives. According to party representatives, the Clean Thursday campaign will continue in the future. It will be held every week in various neighborhoods and streets of the city, systematically calling on residents to protect nature.

In his speech during the campaign, Deputy Executive Secretary of the city branch, Yerbol Baikonysov, noted that showing compassion for nature is the duty of every citizen.

"Environmental protection is not only the responsibility of government agencies. If every resident keeps their yard clean, the city's ecology will improve significantly. We are pleased with the activity of the young people who participated in today's action. Young people are the driving force of society, and if their environmental culture is high, our city and country will be cleaner and more beautiful in the future," he said.

In addition, activists from the "Zhastar Ruhy" organization who participated in the event said that they will continue to conduct educational work in schools and colleges to increase environmental awareness, sort waste, and prevent environmentally harmful activities.

In conclusion, the next environmental campaign held in the Shymcity microdistrict was one of the important steps towards creating eco-consciousness in society. Such initiatives contribute not only to improving the ecology of the city, but also to increasing the activity of citizens and strengthening their sense of shared responsibility. In the future, the cleaning activities organized by the AMANAT party will continue, contributing to the development of the metropolis as a clean and comfortable city.
