Budapest, 1 December 2025 - Dr. Dinmukhammed Ametbek, Expert of the Turkic Academy, completed a working visit to Hungary from 23 to 27 November 2025 at the invitation of leading Hungarian academic and analytical institutions. The program was initiated and supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary.

During his visit, Dr. Ametbek took part in the international conference “Charting the Future: Geopolitics and Energy Policies in Europe and the Turkic States”, organized by Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC). The event brought together experts from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and Hungary to discuss geopolitical developments in Europe and Central Asia, energy diversification, regional connectivity, and enhanced cooperation among the Turkic States. Speakers noted Hungary’s constructive role as an Observer State in the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and underscored the growing importance of unity within the Turkic world.

As part of the academic program, Dr. Ametbek delivered lectures at Mathias Corvinus Collegium, Corvinus University, and the Ludovika University of Public Service. His presentations addressed key topics, including Kazakhstan’s foreign policy priorities, the geopolitical situation in Central Asia, and the evolution of Turkic cooperation mechanisms. Hungarian students, researchers, and practitioners demonstrated strong interest in the discussions.

On 26 November, Dr. Ametbek participated in a roundtable with experts of the Danube Institute, attended by H.E. Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary. The discussion focused on Kazakhstan–Hungary relations, cooperation within the OTS, and regional dynamics in Central Asia. Ambassador Saparbekuly highlighted the strengthening strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary, as well as Hungary’s active engagement with the Turkic world.

Dr. Ametbek also briefed participants on the activities of the Turkic Academy, emphasizing its research projects, educational initiatives, and ongoing cooperation with Hungarian institutions as an Observer State of the Academy.

The visit contributed to deepening academic ties, expanding expert-level dialogue, and promoting broader understanding of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy and regional developments in Central Asia and Turkic World. Hungarian partners expressed readiness to continue joint initiatives in research, education, and policy analysis.
