The Abay region has seen a decrease in divorces over the first 11 months of 2025.

From January to November of this year, 2,772 marriages and 464 divorces were registered in the region. For the same period in 2024, these figures were 3,199 marriages and 626 divorces.

Thus, compared to last year, the number of divorces decreased by 162 cases, a 25.9% decrease. The number of marriages also decreased, by 427.

The department noted that the decline in divorce rates is one of the notable trends this year.

"The branch continues to provide civil registration services in accordance with the established procedure. Data shows that the number of marriage dissolutions over the 11 months has decreased compared to last year," reported the Abay branch of the "Government for Citizens" State Corporation.
