The republican environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan" is regularly organized in Shymkent. Today, the city's youth gathered in Metallurg Park and carried out cleaning work. Activists of the city's Youth Resource Center, volunteers, and students from various educational institutions participated in the event.
According to Zhanserik Zhuman, director of the Youth Resource Center, the large number of participants in the action indicates that environmental culture is growing.
– The activity of young people who gathered to participate in the nationwide campaign is encouraging. They not only contribute to the cleanliness of the city, but also serve as an example for the younger generation. They also promote environmental culture among residents and prove it with their own actions, – he said.
The city's schools were not left out of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign. The staff and students of secondary school No. 75 in Shymkent made their contribution to the nationwide campaign.
Here, a special lecture was held to explain to students about environmental protection, the development of ecological culture, and the contribution of each citizen to the preservation of cleanliness and natural resources. Students were divided into groups and presented effective suggestions for preserving the environment. Such events were organized in all schools in the city.
