SHYMKENT: 30 NEW VEHICLES RECEIVED FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES

Today, during a working tour of the city, Shymkent Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov handed over the keys to 30 new ambulances to the emergency medical service.

The head of the megalopolis noted that upgrading the material and technical base of medical organizations and emergency services is one of the priorities of the akimat. Upgrading the ambulance fleet is an important step in improving the quality and speed of emergency medical care provided to the population.

The new Hyundai STARIA ambulances are fully equipped with modern medical equipment. The vehicles are equipped with cardiographs, defibrillator monitors, artificial lung ventilation devices, electric pumps, oxygen cylinders, special stretchers, and protective shields.

The city mayor also presented certificates to healthcare organizations for medical equipment purchased with the sponsorship of Al-Farabi Pharm Ltd. The equipment ordered includes incubators for newborns, functional and intensive care beds. This equipment will improve the quality of care for infants and effectively treat patients in critical condition.

The city mayor noted that systematic work will continue to modernize the healthcare sector and increase access to medical services for Shymkent residents.

It is worth noting that today the city's emergency medical service operates on the basis of 10 substations. 115 teams provide emergency assistance to residents around the clock, including 28 medical and 87 paramedic teams.
