On 18 December 2025, the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan Region held an Open Day for students of higher educational institutions of the region, timed to coincide with the Day of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized to familiarize young people with the activities of the state revenue authorities, increase interest in public service, and attract students for industrial internships and subsequent employment within the Department.

During the Open Day, representatives of the Department informed participants about the key areas of activity of the state revenue authorities, their role in ensuring the country’s economic security and replenishing the state budget, as well as the requirements and opportunities for entering the civil service. Students received information on internship procedures, internship conditions, and career development prospects.

As part of the event, speakers addressed issues of anti-corruption, highlighting the anti-corruption measures implemented within the state revenue authorities aimed at ensuring transparency, legality, and adherence to the principles of integrity in public service.

The program also included introductory meetings with specialists from structural divisions, presentations, and a guided tour of the Department’s museum.

After the official part of the event, students were shown modern instruments and technical equipment used for customs inspection and examination in the practical work of customs posts.

The Open Day became an important step in strengthening cooperation between government bodies and educational institutions, as well as in developing the human resources potential of the state revenue authorities of the East Kazakhstan Region.
