Culinary master class was held in the women's colony

For the first time, a master class on cooking cold dishes and snacks was held at institution No. 23.

                 The purpose of the event is to adapt educational programs to modern labor market requirements and improve the quality of vocational training among convicts. About ten women serving their sentences took part in the master class. They showed interest in learning new professional skills. The lesson was conducted by the deputy director of the Zharminsky Technological College, Raigul Itbayeva. The participants got acquainted with the basics of culinary business, sanitary requirements, safety standards, as well as the principles of labor organization in the production kitchen. In addition to the practical part, modern teaching methods, innovative cooking technologies and trends in catering were discussed.

            — Within the framework of the tasks set, it is planned to update vocational training courses for convicts in correctional institutions, taking into account the demand on the labor market. To this end, cooperation is underway with educational organizations and regional offices of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. Female convicts eagerly took part in the master class, striving to gain knowledge and skills that will help them successfully adapt to society after their release," said Altynai Ultambayeva, Senior Inspector for the organization of convict labor.

             Conducting such events contributes to social rehabilitation and the formation of sought-after competencies of the SR
