Shymkent celebrated the opening of two new industrial facilities, built as part of investment projects in the manufacturing sector. The city's mayor participated in the opening ceremonies.

The first nonwovens factory to open was Marvik Partners LLC, located in the Ontustik Special Economic Zone. The company specializes in spunbond products, which are in demand in the light industry, medicine, construction, and other sectors.

Investment in the project totaled 4.7 billion tenge. The factory will create 136 permanent jobs, and its production capacity allows for the annual production of up to 4,800 tons of nonwoven materials. A 3-hectare plot of land was allocated within the Ontustik SEZ for the production facility. The facility is equipped with modern equipment and is focused on import substitution.

On the same day, Alliance Buildings LLC opened its plant for the production of apartment, fire, and technical metal doors. The company is focused on supplying the country's southern regions with high-quality construction products and expanding export sales.

Starting next year, the company plans to begin exporting to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Total investment in the project amounted to 3.7 billion tenge. Once fully operational, the plant will provide permanent employment for 120 people. Production is designed to produce up to 150,000 units annually.

"The launch of new enterprises is a significant step forward for Shymkent's industrial development. Such projects create jobs, strengthen the city's economic potential, and facilitate the development of industries in demand in both domestic and international markets," emphasized G. Syzdykbekov.

It is worth noting that the opening of the plant and factory will be a significant contribution to the development of Shymkent's industrial sector, expanding the city's production base, and strengthening its economic potential.
