Today, a ceremonial reception dedicated to the 70th anniversary of public activist, correspondent of the Syr Didary newspaper, and district representative of the Nationwide Social Democratic Party, Kuanysh Zhaksylykovich Toreyev, was held in the meeting hall of the district akimat under the chairmanship of District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek.

The event was attended by respected elders and distinguished citizens of the district, as well as Ergazy Kozhakov, Chairman of the Kyzylorda Regional Branch of the Nationwide Social Democratic Party, who arrived specially for the occasion.

During the reception, Zhandos Yerkinbek highlighted the jubilarian’s active role in public life, noting that for many years he had raised important social issues of the district and served as a “golden bridge” between the people and the authorities. Special recognition was given to his work at the Syr Didary newspaper and his strong civic stance in the field.

At the ceremonial event, the district akim presented the public activist with the district’s highest award — the Certificate of Honor.

Congratulatory speeches were also delivered by Ergazy Kozhakov, Chairman of the Kyzylorda Regional Branch of the Nationwide Social Democratic Party; Adil Koshalakov, Chairman of the District Maslikhat; Askar Merekov, Chairman of the District Veterans’ Council; and Abdirakhman Kulduisenov, Chairman of the District Public Council, who all expressed their warm wishes.

In response, Kuanysh Zhaksylykovich thanked everyone present for their attention and expressed his sincere gratitude.
