As part of a working trip to Kostanay region, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the AMANAT party faction Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva visited the Kostanay-Su State Enterprise, located in the city of Kostanay.

The chairman of the Kostanay regional branch of the AMANAT party, Almat Dosmukhamedov, also took part in the working trip. During the meeting, topical issues of the municipal sector and initiatives aimed at the systemic development of the industry were discussed.

Representatives of EPC Forfyte, KZHEK, the Department of Energy and the Unified Settlement Center (ERC) also took part in the discussion.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the following key issues:

formation of a unified information base for making utility payments through the ERC;
problematic issues arising in the process of digitalization of public infrastructure;
ensuring sustainable sources of financing for cybersecurity measures;
rules for the selection, installation and operation of water metering devices and systems in water supply and sanitation systems, including the introduction of modern digital metering devices.

A number of these issues were raised by the Kostanay-Su State Enterprise, and Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva noted that she was taking them under personal control. Following the meeting, the parties exchanged contact information and agreed on further comprehensive consideration of the proposed initiatives at relevant venues, followed by further elaboration at the commission level.

The meeting was held in a constructive format and was an important step in promoting system solutions aimed at developing public infrastructure.
