Today, District Akim (Governor) Berik Sarmenbayev introduced Kanat Azimkhanuly Myrza to the district activists following his appointment as the Head of the District Treasury Department.

Professional Background: Kanat Azimkhanuly was born in 1973 in the Kyzylorda region.

• Career Beginnings: He began his career in 1992 as an accountant and senior accountant in the accounting department of the Kyzylorda city cash settlement center.

• Career Progression: Over the years, he served as a senior accountant in the interstate relations department of the regional branch of the National Bank, a senior economist in the bank-payment control and regulation department of the regional budget, and held roles as sector manager, department head, and deputy head of the regional treasury department.

• Leadership Experience: He previously served as the head of the Zhanakorgan District Treasury Department.

• Recent Role: From 2025 until this current appointment, he served as the Head of the Operations Management Department of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The head of the district wished the new appointee success in his role and expressed confidence that he would ensure the timely and complete execution of budget revenues and expenditures, while maintaining strict control over the targeted and efficient use of funds.
