On January 13, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov presented the exequatur to Denis Meleshkin, the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Almaty, with regard of the opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Almaty, and wished him success in his mission. In turn, the Consul General of Belarus expressed his gratitude and confirmed willingness to work for the benefit of the development of bilateral relations.
