Private Nur­daulet Zhaliev is serving in military unit 5513 of the “Oñtüstik” Regional Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Taraz. He joined the army consciously and with a clear goal: his dream was to perform as part of a military band and dedicate his life to music in uniform.

Nur­daulet’s passion for the stage has accompanied him since childhood. From his school years, he performed in front of audiences, sang, and confidently played the bayan. These qualities were nurtured in a large family where diligence and responsibility were instilled from an early age.

After graduating from the Zhambyl Abai Humanitarian Higher College, two paths opened before him. One led to working in his specialty as a music teacher. The other required determination and belief in himself. Nur­daulet chose the path he had dreamed of since childhood.

To achieve his goal, he worked hard, developed his skills, and collected the necessary documents to join a military band. However, the lack of a military ID became an obstacle, and he was not accepted into the band at that time.

This did not stop the young musician. At the age of 21, he decided to enlist in the army to obtain a military ID and move closer to his dream. His parents supported him; being creative people themselves, they immediately understood that his choice was thoughtful and firm.

After six months of service, Private Zhaliev proved himself confidently and earned the right to continue service under contract. From the very first days, the unit’s commanders were aware of Nur­daulet’s aspiration to perform in a military band. His determination, discipline, and attitude toward service did not go unnoticed.

Today, Private Nur­daulet Zhaliev is already a musician in the military band of unit 5513. As part of the ensemble, he is mastering new musical instruments, expanding his professional skills, and continuing his creative development.

The story of this guardsman once again confirms a simple truth: when a person sincerely believes in a dream and is ready to work for it, circumstances begin to fall into place. In this case, service in the National Guard became the very environment where a dream was given a chance to come true.
