final meetings were held at Institutions No. 2, No. 3 and No. 64 with the participation of the Head of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System of Astana, Colonel of Justice Rustan Serikovich Akhmetzhanov.

The meetings were attended by the management staff of the institutions, heads of services, and personnel. During the meetings, the heads of the institutions conducted a comprehensive analysis of activities for the reporting period and presented reports on achieved results as well as identified issues.

Special attention was given to ensuring the regime and security, maintaining proper conditions for convicted persons and detainees under investigation, strengthening service discipline and legality, and improving the quality of work with personnel.

As a result of the meetings, specific tasks for the first quarter of 2026 were defined, and priority areas of operational and service activities were identified. In particular, tasks were set to prevent offenses, prevent the introduction of prohibited items into the institutions, strengthen control and inspection measures, and enhance the overall effectiveness of service activities.

The Head of the Department emphasized that the timely and high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks is the personal responsibility of each manager and instructed that all ongoing work be kept under constant supervision.
