A truly rare and touching moment took place within the law enforcement forces. At military unit 5546 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stationed in Atyrau, Senior Lieutenant Kudiyar Saparbek administered the Military Oath to his own younger brother, recruit Magzhan Saparbek.
Such cases are extremely rare for the National Guard, and for the Saparbek family this day became a truly historic one. Both brothers are natives of Shymkent, and their life paths have now converged not only within the family, but also in military service.
Senior Lieutenant Saparbek currently serves with honor as a company commander in military unit 5546. His younger brother Magzhan is just beginning his army journey, having taken the most important step — pledging allegiance to the Motherland. For the young soldier, this moment became one of the most significant in his life.
“Since childhood, my brother has been an example for me. I saw how he serves and how he treats military duty. Taking the oath before my own brother is a great honor and a great responsibility. It is not only my oath to the Motherland, but also a responsibility to my family,” Magzhan Saparbek shared.
The unit’s command emphasized that such events carry special educational value. They clearly demonstrate to young servicemen the continuity of generations, loyalty to military traditions, patriotism, and strong family values.
