A meeting was held at the Main Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan to consider a submission from the Military Department of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting focused on issues related to preventing violations of legality in the review of citizens’ appeals.

The meeting was chaired by Colonel Yermek Burgebayev, Head of the Documentation Support Directorate of the Main Command of the National Guard. Participants included representatives of the Military Department of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office, as well as heads of documentation support units from the regional commands “Ontüstik,” “Ortalyk,” “Batys,” and “Shygys,” the National Guard Academy, and directly subordinate military units.

Reports and explanations were delivered by Senior Prosecutor of the Military Department, First-Class Lawyer Zhadyra Abzhapbarova; Prosecutor of the Military Department, Justice Advisor Nazerke Satybaldieva; and Colonel Yermek Burgebayev, Head of the Documentation Support Directorate of the Main Command. During the discussion, identified shortcomings were thoroughly reviewed, clarifications were provided on compliance with legal requirements, and measures to address the issues were outlined.

Special attention was paid to improving the quality of work with citizens’ appeals, ensuring compliance with established deadlines, and reinforcing the responsibility of officials. Following the meeting, representatives of the Military Department answered problematic questions raised by participants from regional commands and provided practical recommendations for further work.
