On December 24, 2025, the Museum of Literature and Art hosted the evening of the meeting "Tіl, Tәrbiye, Taіlym" with the veteran of the cultural sphere Karatay Tolekeev, who made a significant contribution to the development and popularization of his native language in our region.

In recent years, his interest in painting has aroused, and the brush has become a constant companion. An exhibition of about thirty paintings by an amateur artist was organized in the exposition hall of the museum.
