An Open Day Is Being Held at the Zhanaozen City Territorial Election Commission

Today, as part of the events dedicated to the World Election Day, an Open Day was organized at the Zhanaozen City Territorial Election Commission.

The purpose of the event is to inform citizens about their right to vote and to be elected, to increase voters’ interest in participating in the management of state and local affairs through elections, to create conditions for conscious participation in voting, and to foster civic responsibility among voters.

During the event, visitors were provided with detailed information about the World Election Day, which is annually observed on the first Thursday of February, the procedure for participation of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in elections, the principles of equal, universal, and direct suffrage, as well as the principles of free and voluntary participation in elections.
