Teenage Safety on the Agenda

Today, an очередное meeting of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and Protection of Their Rights under the district akimat was held in the conference hall of the district akimat, chaired by Deputy Akim of the district, Dias Moldabayev.
The agenda included five issues. On the first issue, Nurbolat Kassymkhanov, Head of the Public Security Unit of the District Police Department, presented a report on the prevention of juvenile delinquency over the 12 months of 2025, group fights among teenagers, and the situation in educational institutions.
Within the framework of the second issue, Parida Sarybayeva, Deputy Chief Physician of the District Hospital for Maternal and Child Health, spoke about the coverage of children with screening examinations, as well as the work being carried out to prevent suicide and early pregnancy among minors. In addition, Berik Zhanibekov, Head of the District Education Department, provided information on preventive measures being implemented in educational institutions.
The third issue focused on studying the situation regarding juvenile delinquency, violence, bullying and cyberbullying, suicidal behavior, and the conduct of social research. Heads of the relevant sectors presented their reports.
The fourth and fifth issues concerned the situation of students and families. In particular, Gulnara Ashirova, Principal of Secondary School No. 183, delivered a report on the behavior of students who committed offenses and the social situation of their families.
During the meeting, commission members expressed their opinions and proposals on the issues raised. Summing up the meeting, Dias Moldabayev assigned specific tasks to the responsible institutions aimed at protecting the rights of minors and preventing juvenile delinquency.
