*The new Constitution will ensure the country's sustainable development*

A meeting to discuss and explain the draft new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the A. Kuatbekov Peoples' Friendship University. Deputy Akim of Shymkent, Sarsen Kuranbek, attended the event and discussed the document's key priorities in detail.
During the meeting, the Deputy Akim noted that the draft new Constitution identifies the development of human capital, education, science, and innovation as strategic priorities of state policy. He stated that these areas will form the foundation of the country's sustainable development, fully unlocking the potential of young people and building a competitive nation.
The special significance of the Preamble of the draft new Constitution, which reflects Kazakhstan's historical path, the values of independence and national identity, was also emphasized.
During the event, Sarsen Kuranbek noted that the current Constitution fully fulfilled its mission during the country's formation and development, and that in modern conditions, an updated legal framework that meets the demands of the times is required.
At the end of the meeting, it was noted that such educational events help improve young people's legal literacy and foster an active civic stance on the country's future. Sarsen Kuranbek called on young people to be patriots who love their country and native land, and to exercise high civic responsibility. Furthermore, university faculty members expressed their opinions and expressed support for the draft new Constitution.
