Skopje, February 2, 2026 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in North Macedonia held a presentation in Skopje on the topic «Tourism Potential of Kazakhstan», aiming to expand bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and attract more Macedonian travelers to our country.

The event was attended by representatives of travel companies in North Macedonian (Elite Travel, Magelan, Mond Travel, Atlas), as well as the Vice President of the European Economic Alliance for Cooperation with Asia Zlatko Edelinski.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Burshakov gave a detailed country presentation on the tourism potential, highlighting the unique regional features and attractions of our country.

The Kazakh diplomat invited the participants to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan’s travel operators to increase the level of mutual tourist exchange and business ties between the two countries.

Representatives of Macedonian travel companies expressed interest in Kazakhstan and readiness to expand mutually beneficial partnership in the tourism sector.

Guests of the meeting were also shown videos about the rich tourism potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan and were presented with informative tourism materials about Kazakhstan.
